Marine Lines Junior Chamber Charitable Trust was founded in year 1991 by JCI Sen Dr. Jivraj S. Shah. Since it’s establishment on account of dedication and hard efforts of all the Past Presidents and active members of JCI Marine Lines, our Trust has started many Permanent Projects from which our society is getting benefit ie. needy patients for their medical treatment and needy students for their education fees.
Our Founder President JCI Sen Dr. Jivraj Shah’s contribution is very immense in our all Permanent Projects. Our Trust has got Corpus Fund of Rs. 7.15 Crore which are deposited in the Nationalized Banks as Fixed Deposit and the interest we received on these Fixed Deposits are used to financially help needy patients & students. Our Trust is registered with the Charity Commissioner of Maharashtra. Our all donors are also getting Tax Benefit under 80-G section of Income Tax.
Our motto is to reach out maximum kind hearted people of the country who want to donate little part of their income for the social service. Our vision is also very clear and strong that our Trust activities could run smoothly and in proper way so that maximum needy people would get benefit from our Trust in many years to come.
We are publishing this small pamphlet which covers our all permanent projects with little information about the project so that maximum people would come to know our noble work in the area of social services.
